Kate Truscott is both General Manager and Brand Partnership Manager for the Kevin Lyman Group. Kevin Lyman has shaped youth culture for over 40 years with his award winning expertise in the music and entertainment industry as well as business and philanthropic ventures. Lyman is best known as the creator of the Vans Warped Tour, which ran from 1995-2019, which can be considered one of the most socially influential music tours in the United States. Kate has managed many band tours including My Chemical Romance, and she is very experienced in brand partnerships. Within this episode we talk about touring, her work, and what artists should be aware of when signing a brand deals - the good and the bad!
